The Dryden Development Corporation (DDC) was formed in 2007. This Corporation simplifies and streamlines the processes to help establish new businesses within the City of Dryden and surrounding area. The DDC acts as the City of Dryden's project delivery agent to meet economic development and diversification objectives relating to business retention, expansion and tourism.

A Tourism Advisory Committee has been formed and is a standing committee of the Dryden Development Corporation. It provides guidance, direction and recommendations on Tourism infrastructure development, marketing and promotional activities, programs and services to the DDC Board of Directors for consideration.
Mission
The Tourism Advisory Committee will encourage Tourism development and marketing across the Dryden area that will contribute to economic prosperity and a higher quality of life in our communities. We will undertake this by:
- Actively communicating with industry stakeholders to develop new Tourism experiences, provide excellent customer service, and market Dryden to our chosen visitor markets/sectors;
- Enhancing strategic partnerships with the municipal, regional and provincial Tourism marketing stakeholders to develop and promote regional experiences; and
- Undertaking research, measurement and compilation of our results in our visitor markets and their economic impact upon Dryden.
